<image:caption>My treatment approach incorporates one or several of my favourite modalities; botanical medicine, orthomolecular medicine (nutraceutical supplementation), dietary and lifestyle counselling, acupuncture, and cupping. Together we discuss treatment options and expected treatment outcomes, and collaboratively decide the most feasible and suitable course of action. I summarize everything discussed in a follow-up email with an outlined treatment plan. Laboratory work may be needed to rule in/out pathologies.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I strongly believe that education and empathetic support can empower a person to take control of their health. I believe that Doctors should provide a safe space where patients are encouraged to express themselves. Patients should feel heard, and they should fully understand their treatment options in order to play an active role in their health. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I strive to use my expertise in alternative therapies to best support those seeking guidance on their path towards the healthiest version of themselves.</image:caption>

<image:caption>When conventional and alternative therapies work effectively together, patients can reduce and sometimes eliminate the need for prescription medications. In the conventional system, I find patients get lost along the line of care between their Doctors and specialists. It’s hard for their Doctors to keep up with their history and patient’s are sometimes placed on a series of prescriptions for the same issue, leading to detrimental effects. As a Naturopath, I can spend the time needed with my patients to help them make sense of their current diagnoses and medications, and monitor and support them as we streamline treatment. I work with my patients’ Primary Care Physician to safely taper their prescriptions to the lowest effective dose where possible. I collaborate with and refer my patients to Medical Doctors and alternative healthcare professionals such as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, and Holistic Nutritionists.</image:caption>

Their regular rates are more affordable since care is provided by a Naturopathic student intern and supervised by experienced Naturopathic Doctors. <image:title>Naturopathic Consultation Fees - Naturopathic Integrative Manual Therapy for Pain Management</image:title>
<image:caption>Initial Visit: 2 hours | $300 Follow up: 1 hour | $150 Follow up: 45 min | $125 This appointment is designed for individuals seeking pain relief, improved mobility, and long-term functional alignment. Whether you are experiencing acute or chronic pain from an injury or medical condition, or wish to address tension patterns, muscular imbalances, and asymmetries, you may benefit from comprehensive corrective manual therapy. This first session includes both assessment and treatment. We begin with a detailed discussion of your condition, reviewing relevant imaging if available, medications and supplements, previous physical treatments, and diet and lifestyle factors contributing to your pain. Treatment combines multiple therapeutic techniques to relieve muscle and joint pain, reduce inflammation, and restore muscular balance. I use slow, precise manual work to progressively release trigger points and muscular tension. Fire cupping and acupuncture are incorporated as needed for deeper release, reduced inflammation, and enhanced tissue healing. Rehabilitative planning is an essential part of the session. This may include personalized exercises to correct compensation patterns, postural imbalances, or dysfunctional movement patterns, as well as targeted supplementation when appropriate to support healing, reduce inflammation, and address deficiencies contributing to your pain. I also collaborate with trusted alternative healthcare practitioners—including chiropractors, physiotherapists, and registered massage therapists—to help you make the most of your insurance coverage and to coordinate care in a way that supports consistent, therapeutic progress.</image:caption>

<image:title>Naturopathic Cosmetic Therapies - Anti-Aging Facial Therapies</image:title>
<image:caption>Facial Acupuncture and Facial Cupping are safe, non-surgical anti-aging interventions. During the natural process of aging; muscle tone, skin elasticity, and skin health diminish, leading to visible wrinkles, sagging skin, and uneven complexion. Facial acupuncture and cupping are used in combination or as sole treatments to increase blood circulation, muscle tone, and lymphatic flow. At your first session, your cosmetic concerns, acupuncture/cupping safety, and expectations of cosmetic treatment will be discussed. During ongoing sessions, diet and lifestyle recommendations, optimal skin care routines and products, and nutritional supplementation for skin health will be discussed. Skin conditions aside from the signs of aging (i.e. acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, rashes, etc.) require a naturopathic consultation in order to investigate the underlying cause and develop a thorough treatment plan that may accompany the cosmetic acupuncture.</image:caption>

<image:title>Naturopathic Cosmetic Therapies - Facial Acupuncture</image:title>
<image:caption>Facial Acupuncture, Cupping & Massage + Constitutional Energetic Acupuncture (60 Minutes) $150.00 This treatment combines facial massage, facial cupping and facial acupuncture with optional acupuncture of energetic points on the body. Although effective as separate treatments, this is a powerful combination of cosmetic treatment with mind and body relaxation. A full treatment course is 10 - 12 sessions, ideally distributed 2-3 times a week, followed by monthly maintenance sessions. Improvement can be seen over the course of treatment, with maintenance sessions having additive effects. Depending on the severity of the skin condition, some patients will require less or more sessions. This treatment can be safely used 3 weeks post botox treatment to boost collagen production and reduce fine lines.</image:caption>

<image:caption>(30 minutes) $75.00 Facial massage targets tension and release adhesions to help balance the structures of the face. Results can be seen at the first treatment session, and additive improvement with ongoing treatment. Throughout sessions I will be teaching you techniques and safety so that you have the option to safely perform facial cupping at home to maintain lifelong benefits. In addition to the anti-aging effects, facial cupping helps with sinus pain, headaches, and sore/tight muscles of the jaw. It’s especially relaxing after a long day of facial expressions and jaw clenching.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Naturopathic Medicine - Naturopathic vs Conventional Medicine</image:title>
<image:caption>Naturopathic and conventional medicine differ in their philosophical approach and therapies used. Naturopathic doctors treat the patient as a whole, investigating biological, psychological and social factors contributing to the cause of illness. Like conventional doctors, naturopaths address and treat the symptoms of disease, however they strive to do this by addressing the root cause of illness. They can requisition laboratory testing and collaborate with your medical doctor in the case where diagnostic imaging or pharmaceuticals are necessary. Naturopathic Medical Training Prior to studies in a four-year, full-time, accredited naturopathic medical school, an individual must complete an undergraduate degree with mandatory science prerequisites - much like the requirements for acceptance into a conventional medical program. Naturopathic medical schools provide more than 3,000 hours of classroom training and 1,200 hours of clinical experience. Upon graduation students must pass standardized North American board exams in order to qualify for licensure/registration. Graduates receive a Doctor of Naturopathy Degree, and the title ND.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Dr. Lore - Treatment Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>My treatment approach incorporates my favourite modalities; botanical medicine, orthomolecular medicine (nutraceutical supplementation), dietary and lifestyle counselling, acupuncture, and cupping. Together we discuss treatment options and expected treatment outcomes, and collaboratively decide the most feasible and suitable course of action. I summarize everything discussed in a follow-up email with an outlined treatment plan. Laboratory work may be needed to rule in/out pathologies.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Dr. Lore - Advocate of Integrative Medicine</image:title>
As a Naturopath, I can spend the time needed with my patients to help make sense of their current medications, investigate each condition they have and monitor them as we streamline treatment. I open lines of communication between practitioners to make sure every one involved in my patients’ health care is up to date on their current status, and work with my patients’ Primary Care Physician to safely taper their prescriptions to the lowest effective dose where possible. I collaborate with and refer my patients to Medical Doctors and alternative healthcare professionals such as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, and Holistic Nutritionists.</image:caption>

<image:title>Acupuncture - Therapeutic Acupuncture</image:title>
<image:caption>Therapeutic Acupuncture can be used for pain relief, or for various systemic pathologies as diagnosed with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture for Pain Acupuncture can relieve trigger points and stimulate blood flow in areas that need healing. Common conditions include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, strained/sprained muscles or tendons, and joint pain from overuse, injury or poor posture. Acupuncture for Pathologies In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the signs and symptoms a person experiences reflects a Zang Fu Pathology; imbalances of Yin and Yang in specific organs in our body. Acupuncture points along meridians that correspond to each organ are chosen to direct the flow of Qi and bring harmony of Yin and Yang, and therefore good health. Zang Fu pathologies often correspond to western pathologies: infertility, various digestive disorders, menstrual irregularity, anxiety and depression. Other times the symptoms combined point to a very clear Zang Fu pathology which can only equate to the combination of several pathologies according to modern western medicine. Naturopathic Doctors and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners can diagnose and determine the appropriate treatment strategy according to Traditional Chinese Medicine.</image:caption>
